No, you cannot live permanently at Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park. We are a holiday park, not a residential park. Even if your caravan is built to residential specification, it's designed for holiday use only. You can visit as often as you like during the season, but it's not a permanent residence.
Unlike typical holiday parks, Aberdunant Hall is set within 200 acres of unspoilt woodland. Static caravans and lodges aren't lined up in rows but are integrated into the natural landscape. Some have gardens, others have views of streams, and all offer tranquillity and space to breathe. Plus, we're located near Porthmadog and Snowdonia's best attractions with beaches just 10 minutes away.
Yes, you can! We allow our owners to sublet their caravans and lodges with no fees or commissions. All you need to do is apply for an annual sublet licence to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. It's a great way to cover running costs when you're not using your holiday home.

For exmaple a 47KG Gas Bottles are £84 each, Electricity is £0.29p per unit, our ultra-fast Wi-Fi is optional at is £199 per year but your first would be included in your purchase price. Yes, static caravans and lodges do depreciate in value. There is no fixed depreciation rate, but it is generally accepted that a static caravan or lodge will depreciate in value similar to how vehicles depreciate. However, the future value of your holiday home will depend on a number of factors including the size, quality and market demand. We offer a range of static caravans and lodges for sale, so you can choose the right one for your needs and budget. The general rule of thumb is that you will pay less for a pre-owned static caravan than a new one.
Yes. However, If you're thinking of buying to sell again quickly, or hoping for a return on investment, caravan ownership likely won't meet those expectations. Caravans are best enjoyed over years of use, not for short-term gain.
All new static caravans come with a 15-year licence agreement from the date of manufacture. Residential Specification Static Caravans start with a 20-year licence agreement, while Lodges come with a 25-year licence agreement. At the end of this period, many owners choose to upgrade to a newer model and continue enjoying the Aberdunant experience.
Our park features a range of amenities including our restaurant serving locally-sourced food, a bar, woodland walking trails, children's play areas, and more. As an owner, you'll have access to these facilities whenever the park is open, making each visit even more enjoyable. Our Things To Do page has more information about our park and the local area.
